I believe that one of the crew will be a former colleague of mine who has recently departed to the Test Train Team.
I'll see if I can find out what's planned.

I haven't heard back yet from my colleague BUT I heard today that the depot have been looking for available drivers (i.e. 'Spares') who are available to crew refurbs on test runs up to Upminster. I *think* they have a backlog of returned units waiting to be available for service - certainly there's been cancellations recently because of 'No OK stock', though I heard another reason for this, so maybe it's a combination of factors. The suggestion I've heard is that the Test Train team who would normally do this aren't available (?) but of course we are both route and stock qualified! I did volunteer to run one tomorrow but unfortunately the DMT hadn't got a 'spare' available to cover my turn

On the engineering notice for Monday night Olympia was taken out of the possession, the new area was Earl's Ct-High St-South Ken. I know that the test trains did run on Sunday night as we were told when booking on that certain trains might not be available until they'd been returned to the depot. More digging required I think

The trains were being used for the JTC of the PPP all three ran Monday night caused some problems. The first one reached Earls Court the other two were delayed due to the signal operator taking traction current off in error, also some track patrols had to wait until Tuesday night.

Journey Time Capability - It will probably tunrn out to be one of the Infraco's big money earners. Reducing Customer Journey Time overall, excess waiting and journey times. I think there is a load of stuff about it on the TfL site?

the reason why it went abit pear shaped was that a p-way patrolman had a fire extingisher squirted in his face at acton town
the friday night possession has now been cancelled according to my som as all weeks we have been conducting signal ac main testing as there is a earth around the earls court area some people might say well thats not really important but it is if you get a earth on the other cable this would cause a dead short on the supply this knocking the breakers out if that happens say goodbye to earls court and beyond as there would be no 600v supply to feed the signalling system for those with access check the special notice for the last couple of nights and you would see train 630 (the crane train which has been around earlscourt for a few weeks now) has been cancelled and also a entry for a wheels free area (nothing on the rails i.e trolleys) between barons court and south ken and olympia hope this helps

Sorry aetearlscourt but the incident with the track people which was 3 people taken to Ealing hospital occurred on the WB platforms not EB see what the TAC issued, they also have more patrols on Friday which if not done the railway ceases to run. I take it your SOM is SN? good friend of mine that's why he sent you to Monument the other week.
