How long is the inter-peak stabling period in the morning? I was at Turnham Green w/b between 0945 and 1015 on Monday and saw 'four on the trot' to Ealing Broadway, with only one train to Richmond in that whole time period. I was surprised to see trains going out as inter-peak stablers so late in the morning; I always thought the stabling period began around 0915.

Ealing Common Stablers, all run empty from Ealing Bdy, though I've shown where they originate in the trip to Ealing Bdy. Time is time in Ealing Common Dt. 121 09.58 ex Dagenham East 122 10.08 ex Upminster 123 10.27 ex Upminster 124 10.36 ex Tower Hill 125 11.17 ex Upminster 126 10.57 ex Upminster 127 11.07 ex High Street Kensington Since they originate form different start points a bit of disruption can easily put a few together when mixed with the service also needed to maintain a service from Ealing Bdy eastbound. (Just ocassionaly some of the trains run passenger from Ealing Bdy to Ealing Common to facilitate onward travel via the Piccadilly if there is a gap in the eastbound service) For completeness the other inter peak stablers are all at Upminster - 101 0941 ex Richmond 102 0958 ex Richmond 103 1018 ex Ealing Bdy 104 1026 ex Ealing Bdy 105 1036 ex Ealing Bdy 106 1043 ex Richmond 107 1106 ex Wimbledon |
