Its so surreal to see such things 'sexed up'! Especially the ambient music in the background; I wonder who has the job of choosing it? Easy Money. The comments are in themselves worthy of a read! I notice though that they aren't using New Johnson for their font. I wonder why not?

Watching the first Tubelines one, it is quite apt that I think I counted just one train that actually stopped at a station and entrained customers, before departing in service. The rest of the video was taken up with things being ripped apart, and trains travelling in or out of depots.
I don't have the time to watch nearly 10 minutes of the next one, but I daresay it's much of the same (after watching the first minute).
Now I know they are maintenance companies, but a little bit of film showing that things can go right wouldn't be a bad thing. An advert for cornflakes isn't all about what goes into them. There's a bit about people actually eating them!!

Don't know if any of you saw the Labour Party election broadcast this evening (14/5/09), but this Tubelines video was even more dull than that!

I find it all dead exciting... To be fair it looks like someone uploaded videos intended for industry circles afterall they are an engineering firm. One seems to be an introductory video for new employees.
Anyway open up the plentiful and exciting threads about trains and signalling on this forum and cure your boredom.
