DISTRICT LINE: Suspended between Turnham and Richmond due to vandalism.
More Vandalism wonder what they have damaged or stolen now next they will be stealing the traines of the tracks.......
Anyone else know any any more about this

Wonderful. Knowing this branch somebody probably either damaged a signal, threw stuff on the track or destroyed one of the Connect antennas.

Why all this theft, just for copper? Surely they could just get a bulk load of 1p and 2p coins and melt the lot down, unless they are impure metals contained within...?

Ermm....gangs? cable damage? obstructions on the track?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves!! Hopefully someone will be able to provide a fuller explanation.....then we can comment with authority, rather than guess work.
