Unless this has already been posted in another thread (apologies if it has; I don't know which category it would fall under), but Metronet formally stop using their name from Monday 20 April.
I work for a contractor doing work for Metronet and we have been advised that all within Metronet have already been told to announce themselves as being from "London Underground" instead of "Metronet", sign-off e-Mails with LU, and to start using LU-branded materials from Monday.
Whereas the fact that Metronet was brought into TfL ownership several months ago (as LUL Nominee companies) is well known, I think many people thought the Metronet 'brand' would at least continue for some time to come (especially as they ordered several-hundred bucketloads of "Transport for London Metronet Rail" letterheads, business cards, etc.)
So now we have the "kudos" (such that it is) of being able to say we're "doing work for London Underground". Just like the pre-Infraco days.

Expect to see a lot of Metronet headed stuff appear on ebay then!
Hmm, Metronet sign from xxx station with 'uneven service' typed on it. Starting bid of £ridiculous. Own a piece of history blah blah blah...
