Just goes to show how bad things are getting on the District, Technical officer goes to a job to re lamp a signal, arrives at the station to use a train to re lamp and realizes he forgets the bulb,

goes back to his depot and obtains a bulb,

then travels on a train to the site replaces the bulb and carries on to the next station not realizing the bulb he has used to replace the defective one is defective anyway

so now has to go through the same procedure again.

What with other certain elements making the job bad enough all we need is things like that to totally screw things up.

Do we really stand a chance ?

I hope I haven't offended anyone - I'm just trying to explain the predicament we are all in - comments please -

it does happen i mean after all we are human he wouldnt of known the one he was replacing was defective he would of just grabbed one from a box of hundreds of them

i have forgotten bulbs when doing relamps its a easy mistake believe it or not your mind is just do get the job out the way so you just get up once you get the job grab your toolbag and go but i bet he was a bit red faced ;D ;D ;D
