At Turnham Green the EB starter is under the control of PM S2 considering that PM's are a unique bit of kit why is this PM still looking after just 1 signal, it's been like this for a good many years since goods trains stopped running and the removal of the loop.

proberly only looks after the one so the signal op can hold the train in the platform and thus keep it to time aslong its in programme mode

Turnham Green S3 PM has a timing unit on it. But the fact of its reliability this PM is normally left in FCFS

most prog machines have time co-in units theres only a couple which havent got this
