I'm sure it isn't, but it looks to be a similar style to Queensway - so I'll say that in case there's an angle I've not seen before!

Bottom one is Harrow, the pedestrian subway at Pinner Road / Bessborough Road, where the road has a roundabout and then bridges over the tracks on the nominal 'northbound' side of Harrow on the Hill station.

With a vague attempt to get back on topic, nuclear devices have been used in civil engineering projects, namely canal building in the former Soviet Union many years ago. And indeed, there was a proposal (although I have no idea how serious, nor do I have references) for the US to build it's own cross-continental shipping canal to rival the Panama canal. I think, though, that such devices would be unlikely to generate the tightly controlled dimension tunnels needed for threading something like Crossrail through a city like London without disrupting (or, dare I say, destroying!) existing infrastructure. With the tunnelling work completed on Crossrail, does that also mean that all of the necessary shafts - station and ventilation - have been completed as well, or are any of those still to be built (or, rather, removed)?

As I understand it, the platforms were not 'refurbished' as such, they (or rather the tunnels they sit in) were 'reshaped' - going from circular to more of a C shape. This was done to house the necessary staircases. etc. for Crossrail interconnections. Then things were, you might say, 'made good'.
More visible work will undoubtedly happen once Crossrail gets closer.

There are occasional, public knowledge, Overground workings that use the Primrose Hill link. I've only ever encountered them during engineering works when the service doesn't run on the (normal!) section between Camden Road and Willesden Junction.
Despite these being public knowledge, lots of people don't seem to know about them or understand that the train is being diverted between two branches of the Overground network. There are posters and announcements, but people don't really "get it". Lots of people suddenly find themselves at South Hampstead without knowing quite how the train jumped between lines. The announcements (both on the train and the platforms) really don't ever seem to help - they seemed not to ever make explicit that the train would 'switch lines' or 'divert' or anything like that. Instead there's the conflicting claim that trains won't run between Camden Road and Willesden Junction (or that there'll be a bus replacement service), followed by the claim that there'll be a limited service between Camden Road and Willesden Junction (low level). Of course, no-one understands that (low level) bit and mass confusion entails!
I can't find anything in the published TfL status updates for this happening again anytime soon, though.

It's odd, it really does look like there's only the one platform - maybe it's just the angle blocking the other lights?
But it now looks a lot more like the view from Queensbury car park towards the platforms.

Is it the work on the Bond Street Crossrail station, at Davies street? Somehow looks familiar.
(Failing that it's 'pill Kit Station' as can be clearly seen in the photo!)
