Tottenham Hale has separate NR and LU gates, so the system knows where you'd tapped into. Anyway, I called up TfL who are refunding the difference. They said it might take a while to fix.

I was recently charged £2.90 for a journey to Morden changing at Stratford / Canada Water and Clapham North. I understand "Some journeys are charged via Zone 1 irrespective of the route taken."
But... The same journey from Lea Bridge is £1.70. And a similar journey from Tottenham Hale to Crystal Palace (via Canada Water) is £1.60.
So why is this one so special?

I've just jumped on board one of the new Meridian Water to Stratford services using the new third track.

Are the STAR services already running? Live departures seem to think they are.

Network Rail have since confirmed that Angel Road will close for the very last time tomorrow evening (Friday 31st May) and Meridian Water will open on the following Monday (3rd June). Last trains will be the 19:47 to Bishops Stortford (Ex Stratford@19:30) and the 19:52 to Stratford (Ex Bishops@19:15). And so thus concludes the history of Angel Road, a history 178 years, 8 months and 16 days long, making it old enough to predate the American Civil War. Who could could have thought that the barren ether had so much to tell. And so I went out.

I think that's the first time I've seen a fast train from Moorgate to Drayton Park of all places. I was once on a charter service that was supposed to be non-stop from Potters Bar all the way to Moorgate. They still stopped and opened the doors at all(?) the intermediate stops in the tunnel!

Nice to see the information displays working on your service! I was on the 1337 yesterday and the one there wasn't working or in use. My video will be up shortly as well. I'm having difficulty getting Premiere to compile it on my 32-bit machine so trying it on a 64-bit machine now!

Is the line diagram at Moorgate still missing Welham Green and spelling the preceding station as "Brookman's[sic] Park"?

This morning, my Victoria Line train went straight through KXSP. There were a few passengers seen on the platform, so the station wasn't closed / evacuated. There *was* prior announcement that the train would not be stopping, but the reason given was [muffled]. Does anyone know the reason for this? Was it a case of spreading out the trains from earlier congestion?

So the Piccadilly Line is currently suspended on the branch to Heathrow
The TfL website says: "Piccadilly Line: Severe delays between Heathrow Terminals and Acton Town due to an earlier fire alert at Hounslow East. Minor delays on the rest of the line due to an earlier fire alert at Hounslow East. London Underground tickets will be accepted by TFL rail by any reasonable route".
So if I'm on Oyster PAYG and go via Ealing Broadway, will I be charged the TfL Rail premium?

An odd thing happened as I was northbound on the Piccadilly near to Turnpike Lane. Sat in the front carriage, an increasing intensity of a "whoosh" sounded before a sudden blast of wind came in through the vents, blowing in a huge amount of dust and made the carriage rather hazy. The train carried on down to the next station as though nothing had happened and the carriage air soon cleared again. What was the cause of this? Existing dust in the vents getting blown in from the pressure, or might there have been something going on in the tunnels that got sucked into the train?

Will the current (Sept-Oct 2017) blockade end on time or is it likely to overrun? I ask because I'm scheduled to take a group of OAPs to the Walthamstow Wetlands on 19 October and we need to use the Goblin from Barking to Blackhorse Road. We are considering postponing the trip to 26th October rather than cancel it, but my concern is bearing in mind the history of this work will the Line be reopened on time? I'd go after the Wetlands has opened its doors on October 20th!

Thanks for the usual excellent pictures, Chris W!
Was great to meet everyone I got to speak to! Although it felt like a bit of a slow start without much excitement, the latter half of the day ended up wonderful.
Sorry I had to dash without even saying goodbye to many of you. Had to try and get to Colindale by 6pm. Yeah.. 6pm.

Did anybody (except perhaps dazz285) go for a spin today? I did, yes, from Blackhorse Road to Barking. Also did Gospel Oak to Blackhorse Road the Saturday gone. Still the 20mph limit over those bridges between Blackhorse Road and South Tottenham, as well as a couple of 20mph TSRs near Wanstead Park and (I think) Harringay Green Lanes. What are these for and are they likely to be raised?
