Maybe they updated the signs? They've stated 123 stairs for years. Only three out :-)

Lots of memories of the above loco's in the 80's, when I did spot trains, then got into railway preservation (steam engines) for a bit, then discovered motorbikes.
Back on topic (ish), I'm happy to have ridden the now-closed bits of lines - the Aldwych branch, the Jubilee into Charing Cross, Epping-Ongar by 'underground' train.
Oh, and the fabulous visit to Mount Pleasant to see the Post Office Railway running. What an amazing system, still partly there today, and worth a visit.

I have no idea how people get these quizzes!
Best I can give is a clue to others that A is in Broxbourne District (Cheshunt, Waltham Cross etc.)

Top image - Swansea castle.
Interestingly, Dawnus (based in Swansea), which led me to this result, went into administration in 2019.

As a regular traveller on the 345's, it's not the quality of the announcements that bothers me, it's the sheer quantity.
I try and filter them out. Maybe should try headphones!

We moved from central London a few months ago, and the experience so far of the Elizabeth line is good;
Used it Wed and Thur; commuting from Taplow to Farringdon.
Bit of exercise at PAD changing lines, isn’t the new line impressive?
More importantly - saved 15 minutes or so off the journey.

I work for a train manufacturer, and this comes under my purchasing area.
Bounced this off an engineering colleague, and neither of us can think of a practical reason for alternate rows of the PIS (Passenger Information System) display being turned off, though this function is user programmable.
Interested to see the answer though.

The correct answer is 1.21 Gigawatts. Which is the equivalent of sending 969 and a half DeLoreans back in time every year!
