I have just been informed by TFL Twitter that during the ‘special timetable’ the first off peak train from Amersham is now the 10.00 am, as tapping in before 09.30 is a peak fare.
Surely they could have changed the tapping in time to make the 09.30 the first Off-peak train?

I also went up after work on Friday (28/02) and had a good wander around. I didn't notice anything of any significance or difference. Has this been dismantled, or can the OP ( adamskiodp ) give any more guidance? No response from the OP to my question. I now understand that the sound muffler is not at the station. Sorry crusty54, just got in from work. The photo posted by knap is the wall I was referring to. Kind regards.

Hi folks,
Just passed Chorleywood going southbound and noticed a concrete wall with an iron grill on top. Is this a walkway for a new siding?

I vaguely remember that Oyster was planned to come as far as Aylesbury some years ago. What happened?

Hi folks , I'm trying to find the best way for my 11 yr old to travel in and around London. Is the £15 fee for an 11 - 15 Oyster card refundable after it is no longer of use? It is a lot of money for someone who will only use it 3 - 4 times a year What is the difference between the 5 - 11 ZIP and the 11 - 15 ZIP that TFL charge an extra £5 for it? If I get a child rate visitor Oyster card I understand that it reverts to adult rate after 2 weeks. Can I get it changed back to child rate at a station? Many thanks, Adam

Hi again Sorry to ask but I'm confused by the TFL website as what my child needs. Is the 11 - 15 Zip photo card an Oyster card that can be topped up and used as PAYG on all TFL services or is it just a photo ID card to be used in conjunction with a PAYG Oyster card? If it is a PAYG Oyster card for children, can it be used to tap in and out on the National rail 'Red route' services within Greater London? Sorry for the ramble Thanks, Adam

Hi folks Not sure if in the right place. Please feel free to move. If instead of using my PAYG Oyster card, I start a journey by tapping in with Apple Pay, can I tap out using my contactless bank card which is the same one that Apple Pay uses? In case of phone battery dying for example. I hope this this makes sense thanks, Adam
