I believe they can keep it for a reasonable time up to five years from the first collection of personal data and information. I know that my local Doctor sends me a form every five years for this purpose, so I assume it must be the same for a TOC as well.

I have my own question... For shots where the driver is clearly visible and the unit in motion was it a LU operator dressed up or did they do the old trick of filming in the reverse cab with all motions backward so that when they reversed it it looks normal?

Ah... Any idea for the completion date for that?
Am I correct in saying that the W&C is the only line on the network that has no stations which are DDA compliant?

Thats good to know - though I wish it was W&C as well It's a rocket lift, well compared to what it was anyway. I beg your pardon? Rocket lift? I am not familiar with that term on the underground. What I don't get is if they can do new trains with fancy new designs, how hard is it to put in a lift or some other step free access at Bank and Waterloo that is open all day for wheelchair users?

1. Leaning on the doors will damage them, and on many trains will eventually cause the trains to lose door 'interlock' and apply the emergency brake as the train thinks the doors are open. Please do not do this. If you fall out for leaning on the door you may deserve it. What utter rubbish! TPTB are never shy about telling people what to do and what not to do and I have never in decades of using the underground heard or seen any suggestion that one should not lean on the doors. Anyone who designed a train for a rapid transit system with doors that could not withstand being leaned upon should be quickly reassigned to enquiring if people want frys with that. With respect, class411, I was on the network only the other week and saw stickers on all tube stock request that nobody leant on the doors - with audible warnings by the driver on 72, 92, D and S7/8 stock. The stickers are located on, above or to the side of the doors themselves - even I know that much!

You know, I still can't tell the difference between S7 and S8 apart from a few minor interior changes
What is the differences? I've looked at wiki but really not helpful in this case

I think it looks okay to be honest - although the female uniform variant might require a little bit of a redesign

What about High Street Kensington? Go out of the station and cross the road - right into McDonalds... handy if you're cold and waiting for an Olympia train

However did trains reverse at Bow Road? Trailing crossover east of the station, right on the steep slope! The crossover is long gone. Slightly off topic, but what is the difference between the pair? <<rincew1nd: New topic started>>

Indeed, very occasionally 95 stock comes in to Platform 3 mysteriously bearing the destination of Moorgate! ;-) Do you go on them? My favourite stations have to be Waterloo - It has a depot UNDERGROUND what is there not to like? South Kensington - Staff there are great in an emergency such as one I had back in Feb this year Earls Court - Like stepping back into time with all that metal work Heathrow Terminal 5 - like the inside of a spaceship Embankment - stand on the Circle and District Platforms and you hear the amusing noise of water running underneath! Aldwych - just because its so awesome

Hmm...
What a darned strange concept. Why not just build cabs at each end like the rest of the railway world?

I am a little surprised the form does not have a 'for sale' or 'wanted' section, but I am sure there is a good reason!
If there was, I would have asked to buy a complete D Stock unit! You raise a good point, though... Why can there not be a For Sale section? I'm sure there must be an interest in things

There is a lift from King William Street to Northern line lifts which operate Monday to Fridays until early evening. There is a link from the bottom of the shafts to the W&C. The new lift and escalator access will be much better. Links will get better with the new Northern line platform and Cannon Street entrance (where McDonalds is now). I certainly knew about the lift there, but I was under the impression there was no link from the Northern Line for wheelchair users... TFL certainly suggests this to be the case after emailing them

As from 20 October, 753 has been replaced by 755. 754 still runs and indeed 121 is an S Stock M-F. Whilst I would normally defer to your greater knowledge in all things for District Line things, may I respectfully submit I saw a "753" working from HSK on the 23rd (Thursday)? I would have caught the thing as well but I was with a wheelchair user and so couldn't get it in time

I think its something to do with oil collecting in the drum
I know there was a standing order for Class 55 "Deltics" in BR days to only apply half power once clear of Dringhouses at York because a full power application resulted in the oil blasting out the exhaust and spoiling the washing!

Bonus Point Suggestion:- Is it that they are located at or very near to parks?
