Is it correct that the above 1959 TS unit has been preserved by staff in Morden Depot?

Is it correct that the above 1959 TS unit has been preserved by staff in Morden Depot? Yes this 1959 Tube Stock Car was restored by Alstom staff at Morden Depot in 2000/2002. The transverse seats in the middle of saloon were removed and a conference table and chairs installed. This car was originally No. 1085 and stands on its own track near the stores reception in Morden depot. Its now used as a staff meeting room, the livery is that used in the 1920s. Photographs of this car were in the October 2002 edition of "Underground News" number 490.

Oh that is good news. At least Morden depot has an example of a proper train in it.

Here is a picture of Morden depot with a proper train in it (in fact more than one proper train)

Ah the heritage unit - I was told quite a few times by drivers that the motors in it were no good - maybe they wanted acceleration to match the 1920's too ;D

Here is a picture of Morden depot with a proper train in it (in fact more than one proper train) I see in the background one of the 72 stock units which were used to try out a new corporate livery. I think these units survived in their experimental colours until they were withdrawn
