No, southeast is not relevant at all. Their geographical relation to each other isn't directly relevant.

How about all depots have entrances from the east of the station sharing the same name as the depot except Ilford which is west?

Ruislip, Willesden and Poplar all the more westerly depot for LUL, LO and DLR respectively. E.g. w.r.t Hainault, New Cross and Beckton. Ilford the more easterly depot for LO and TfL Rail (Elizabeth line).

I learnt that the new Plumstead depot for the Elizabeth line is slightly further east than Ilford depot. Just as well we didn't take even longer to solve this one!
