That’s Chesham with its absolutely farcical “safety enhanced” benches. Safe benches, but an unsafe platform edge to the former bay. I'd love to see the risk assessments! Edit to add, it strikes me that they may be painted yellow to assist those with visual impairments - which is absolutely fine - though my point about inconsistency with the disused platform edge still stands.

I agree that supporting those with visual impairments with colour contrast surfaces is an essential part of making the network easier to use. But there are so many examples of similar visual aids at stations of equal heritage that don’t look so garish.
