Hello there. It has come to my attention that there is a middle carriage of 1972 Stock on the Bakerloo line that has a half white painted, and half red front. Sadly I do not know the number of the car, but does anyone know if there are more examples of this on the 1972 stock today?

There are a few of them with half red or full red ends, but I'm not sure how many exactly.

I believe these are for sighting reasons when four car units have had to operate independently and out of passenger service.

As others have alluded, it's because there is the possibility of part-sets running outside of Stonebridge Park; RSSB standards require full colour ends, though LU have a derrogation for red rather than yellow.
I thought there was only one though.

That's assuming it ever actually goes anywhere!
