Boarded a westbound train at Blackfriars around 7.40am yesterday, pulled up short at Temple waited a few moments then drew up to the stopping Mark, at Embankment pulled up short again, this time rather sharpish causing a few in the car to lose balance, before drawing forward to the stopping Mark, appeared back to normal by Westminster. Could this be where the signals are placed at these stations or some other reason ?

More likely a new recruit "on the handle" starting their four weeks "Road" training with an Instructor Operator.
