B I'll say Kings Cross St. Pancras. They are quite difficult today to be fair! You can have these clues for the ones you tried though. Location B: (click for a larger version) Location D: (click for a larger version)

I'll go for "sporting venues", with a shot at B as Wembley Park.

B isn't Victoria, although you can get a direct train from there.

I'll go for "sporting venues", with a shot at B as Wembley Park. The link is to do with sport, but I'm going to need a little bit more than that if you want any points. B isn't Wembley Park, and that wouldn't fit the link. B isn't Victoria, although you can get a direct train from there. Euston? Nope, wrong sized train.

Given the previous answers, are we dealing with Football stadiums, in which case I'll go with Fulham Broadway and Putney bridge Football stadia are part of the answer, but it's something more specific than that. Location B: Fulham Broadway - stadium exit from eastbound platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Not Putney Bridge, see if this helps... (click for a larger version)

Not/no longer the nearest station for the eponymous football club? (to which we could add West Ham/Upton Park, and Wimbledon

I'm fairly certain that Fulham Broadway is still the nearest station to Stamford Bridge. Could the link simply be that they are all/were premier league stadia

Could the link simply be that they are all/were premier league stadia I knew that, but knowing that Crystal Palace's ground is Selhurst Park (nearest station, Selhurst) , Spurs have currently decamped to Wembley during the redevelopment at White Hart Lane, and Arsenal have moved from Highbury so their nearest station is now H&I, I was looking for something to do with Fulham FC rather than Chelsea - and as the nearest station to Craven Cottage is Putney Bridge - it seemed to fit. Obviously I was overthinking it.

AFAIK Chris M isn't an avid football fanatic; if football comes up again in the quiz it's probably not thinking too deeply about it!

Isn’t Drayton Park the closest station to Arsenal’s ground?

Isn’t Drayton Park the closest station to Arsenal’s ground? Could well be, I'm not an expert. But I seem to recall it's closed on match days because it can't cope with the crowds. (Its absence from the Tube map probably also helps!)

(Its absence from the Tube map probably also helps!) It’s certainly not equipped for crowds! It’s odd that it’s not on the tube map, as it was for many years after the line was transferred from LT to BR.

Whilst it may appeal to members, the current operation of the Northern City Line is not 'on topic' for District Dave's London Underground forum; as such it doesn't feature in the daily quiz as a main location.
