Is the link the four points of the compass, North, South, East and West, and the odd one out is A because it is not in Harrow.

East Finchley station is actually in East Finchley (well, it's a matter of opinion, but the village of Finchley is sort of where Finchley Central is. If they'd named it north Highgate that would be no less matching the previous settlements)
Is it to do with national rail use/former use? West Harrow being the only one without national rail useage?

Is A: Harrow on the Hill (and therefore odd as no compass direction)

Inset 1 looks like where the Siemens Evo Train Mock-up was housed behind The Crystal.

Inset 1 looks like where the Siemens Evo Train Mock-up was housed behind The Crystal. Spot on, as photographed by me. The office is far too tidy to be anything to do with me!

The Office looks Great Eastern in my low-res view. Unless the post-grouping Fender Exchanges clouded the issue.

I believe the office is indeed Great Eastern, but you need to be more specific than that for the points.

Well, Wolferton is the famous one. (If you discount Liverpool Street).

Are there any more clues available for Inset 4 - Is it perhaps not in the UK?
