The inset is what the tour guides describe as, "The crookedest street in the world" - It is in San Francisco. The building visible at the top right is the Mark Twain Hotel. The street is also known as Lombard Street.

Named Lombard Street by Jasper O'Farrell, after whom O'Farrell Street is named. Hardly a 'street', in the literal sense of the word.
