Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the power of a 92TS train is in kW and what the braking force generated by a train is in metric tonnes? I'm doing a sim of the Central line in Railway Operation Simulator and need the info for setting up the timetable. If you can't give me those numbers, I can roughly work it out from acceleration/deceleration numbers if anyone can give me those?
Thanks in advance!
Sam

I don`t think you will get a answer on this i try and see if they have the answer at the test engineers.

Thank you very much, Kevin. I've had a look at the stock data sheets that are available online, but they only give physical dimensions/weight and info about the kind of motors fitted. No info about power output or braking force in numbers, at least.

HI one answer from the test house. kevin
I can’t actually find anything for it I’m afraid. With regards braking, all rolling stock need to comply with the emergency brake of 1.1m/s2 deceleration in signal sections designed around tunnel overlaps or 1.3m/s2 in open areas. So service brake uses anything less than this, typically 0.7-0.9m/s2. ATO is quite fierce. Motor wise; each axle has a 60hp motor which means an eight car train is 1952hp. Trains can accelerate to just over 100kph but are currently restricted to 85kph in Auto. The ATO system governs the acceleration/deceleration depending on signalling requirements so isn’t constant.

Thanks guys, this should be more than enough info to work out the numbers I need! Very much appreciated!
