Good morning and greeting from Leipzig, My company will deliver two railway crane to London Underground, and these is not really easy in case of different and many Standards. So I need some information about the buckeye coupler head, at the drawing you see the high of the centre line at 1041, but if you look at the LuL Standart the middle of the knuckle of the Drawgear head are at 997 mm above rail. So these battery loco 1964, 69 and 1973 are not acc. to standard or the value at the drawing is only for buffer? Could anyone help me? Regards Christian

yes you are right, but they don't know the right values from these locos and it seems that the battery loco is not acc. to the LUL standards ... impossible
I cant understand if this is really the truth ..

Are these the two 25t Kirow cranes on order? Please confirm. Also please send a copy of the LU standard your refer to. If I have this information I will try to contact the person who can help. I have done a little research. The UK standard Buckeye coupler centre line above rail level is 997mm. In many rolling stock designs, the buffer centre line is different. I suspect this is the case with LU. The drawing you have may not be correct. You should confirm this with your LU project engineer.
