I think the main pic is just too stunning! Can you REALLY work out the location of a Sykes banner signal just from a picture of one?

A Queen's Park? And I'll couple that with a pre-emptive guess that the link might be "Park", but no idea about the rest.

A is not Queen's Park and the link is not related to the names of stations on this occasion

Correction to my previous answer: - A - Kew Gardens Southbound platform. The Banner Repeater is now a Dot Matrix type. That's the one. Answer: Location A: Kew Gardens - repeater signal on westbound platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) We have the bookends, all we need now is locations B, C , the link and odd one out.

So far the revealed answer's are penultimate stations on the district line branches. So Upminster Bridge for C But not Ealing Common for B

Location C: Upminster Bridge - bench on platform [Chris M] [Chris M] (click for a larger version) You are correct that B is not Ealing Common, but where is it?

B doesn't look much like the only other penultimate station on the District (Paddington Praed St) either, so I suspect it is the odd one out.
No idea where it is though

It looks like there's an overhead wire in the photo for A - so somewhere like East Ham (sort of a penultimate station)?
