Wild stab in the dark, Blackhorse Road? I think you're wearing a blindfold in the dark, wrong line, wrong bit of the map. See if this helps: (click for a larger version) Any thoughts on the background?

Background looks like The Plant.

The location isn't Northumberland or Park. Background looks like The Plant. I don't know what The Plant is, but I suspect it's not this. Does this version help? (click for a larger version)

Chris - To enthusiasts of a certain age, "The Plant" means the Doncaster steam loco factories. However, the picture looks nothing like Doncaster - more like somewhere on the mid-Hants railway [going by the heathland surrounding the place].
Could the main pic be Hainault?

The main picture is not Hainault, but you're getting warmer.
The background is a heritage railway but not the Mid Hants.

It's the rear portion of the main picture which looks like The Plant. I was looking at the wrong picture!

The background is a heritage railway but not the Mid Hants. I can't actually see a railway in that picture, but there could be one somewhere in those woods. It reminds me of the view from Corfe Castle (the actual castle, not the station)
