Has there been any progress on the redevelopment of Hackney Wick Station described in this Hackney Council press release? news.hackney.gov.uk/8m-upgrade-for-hackney-wick-stationThe press release dates from October 2013 and states that the redevelopment would be completed by 2016.

Well, some of it has definitely happened - notably the connection with Hackney Central

That is Hackney Downs not Hackney Wick Mea culpa Hackney seems to have a lot of stations for an area which claims to have poor transport connections!

Things were improved by the NLL reopening to Stratford but still rubbish if you want to go to the West End or most main line termini.

West end? - not difficult to change at Liverpool St onto the Central Line!

Things were improved by the NLL reopening to Stratford but still rubbish if you want to go to the West End or most main line termini. As well as the West End (wherever that is - see debate on LR.......) Liverpool Street has direct Tube connections to most main line termini - Waterloo being the principal exception.
