on station closure update on website - the step free access changed for Westminster Step Free Access to Circle and District line via Canon Row only
so this means anyone wanting enter the station has ask staff to escort to that entrance? or temporary staff stationed at that entrance? i dont get full details
but the travel advice on status page said
WESTMINSTER STATION: Due to planned lift maintenance work lifts to the Circle and District line platforms will be taken out of service. Customers needing step free access will be directed to an alternative lift at street level to access these platforms. but does not give a fuller information like affects on jubbiee line which has lift from circle and district line or which lift is actually out of service

Most of Cannon Row was closed to public access about 1990 and is part of the Parliamentary estate, behind their security fence. So where is this entrance?

Go out of the station (using the steps next to the lift) turn right walk a short distance turn right onto the dead end road walk to the end, look to you right that's where the lift is. It's both lifts to the D/C lines platforms.

It's a firemans lift, put in with all the others, if you take the ext in the middle of the Jubilee platforms al look to your left you will see a set of fire doors the lift is behind them (you walk straight forward into the lift, once it gets to street level you walk straight out, out of the station and turn left to to the road)
