Well that went well... NOT !!!!
The new Aventra trains have mixed longitudinal / transverse seating ... That's the plan says Tfl & that was it....

I think tfl consider the S8's a great success so they are the model for non-intensively loaded services. I rather like them.

They answered one of my tweets by saying they will consider putting a 378 on one of the WA routes. At least that's how I interpreted their response

Actually I asked this question but a few days ago and wasn't given anything other than what has been mentioned already. I asked for a specific date, but none given

Yes I saw that! Is was a bit school playground at times. I have some questions to ask so will reel them off. Incidentally, anyone who doesn't have access to Twitter and has a (sensible) question to ask, post here and I will try to pose the questions. No questions about 30tph to Cheshunt and Enfield Town for example

I have some questions to ask so will reel them off. Well people were obviously very hacked off with the poor start to West Anglia services so their anger with that turned into Twitter frustration. As you say it got a tiny bit childish "why are you answering *this person's* question and no others?" wah wah wah.

What's left to ask? I'm feeling pretty well informed about LO's plans.
Perhaps grill them on the current status and reliability of the inherited 317 and 315 stock, and ask for some new details about the new Bombardier stock?

Some questions to consider asking (for the avoidance of doubt the first two are jokes! ) - have they employed a new signage contractor? - do they need a proof reader for the signage specs? - when will the reliability of the old trains on West Anglia stabilise and a full service be operated? - is the electrification of the GOBLIN still on schedule? - will we ever get a step free access scheme at Blackhorse Road? if yes, when? - when will the gating work at Walthamstow be finished? - are there any timetable improvements in Dec 2015? - how many more cl378 trains remain to be converted to 5 cars?

I might actually ask them about the sign debacle and include my picture of Angel Park as reference

I'm impressed that they responded to Mr Well's tweet (I had to click on his profile to find out why he merited a 'verified' tick - turns out he is a journalist at the Granuiad) If I were in charge of responding to those tweets, his would probably have not been graced with an answer.

I'm impressed that they responded to Mr Well's tweet . The answer missed the pojnt about Clapton though - it was not because of LO but LU that Clapton had to be closed in the peaks. Interesting to conjecture whetrer it woulkd have happened if AGA still ran it - negotiation between TfL and a TOC might have been a bit harder.

Thanks for those responses. Looks like the Access for All funding has been pulled for Blackhorse Road's scheme then and no co-ordinated work during the blockade. That's very disappointing given the numbers of people who struggle with buggies and heavy shopping / bags.
