I was just wondering. On heritage runs, how come only the 1938 stock is used (or sometimes Sarah Siddons and ignoring the steam 150)?

Chiefly because of the lack of anything else 'runnable', I would think.

I believe it is hoped to run the three car Craven Unit, with paying passengers onboard, on the Underground Network again. Although it may be a little bit further away in time than originally envisaged.

Particularly given the damage it caused on the way back from Epping recently.
Serious delays to the Central line resulted.

Another 'A' Stock tour would be welcome perhaps on the lines of the May 2013 runs between Harrow and Amersham.

I won't say no to an A stock tour. They need to be kept running so they don't deteriorate. They have had problems already this year. It would be a shame if they were left to fall into ruin.

The incident involving the cravens unit was discussed on here a while ago. Needless to say not much else can be said about it because of the second word in the post. Fish7373 was pointing out that the information posted was wrong, as had been hinted at in the other thread.
