I am gradually building up a online reference to the various electric multiple units used in the UK and I am currently collating information on the Metropolitan District Railway A and B stock. I am looking for additional reference material and would appreciate being advised on any material I should read/obtain. Site is currently sitting on www.internet-here.net. Thank you. Richard

Definitely second that suggestion.
The district A stock was really interesting as it was used to trial equipment for the proposed B stock.

Any recommendation of which edition is best There are two editions of this book, both I think are out of print.(Check Capital Transports web page.) The latter by Capital Transport is more up to date, and a larger format. The original was an LT publication by J. Graham Bruce in the 60's I think.
