Trying to navigate the TfL website, it no longer seems to give the "times from this stop" unlkess you specify a destination. It suggests it should take ten minutes to get from Vauxhall to Euston (six stops) on a Sunday morning. Is this at all realistic?

It gives:
Pimlico 1m Victoria 3m Green Park 5m Oxford Circus 7m Warren Street 8m Euston 10m Kings Cross 11m
That doesn't seem entirely unrealistic.

It is exactly what the latest WTT shows as the run time for a journey at around 0900 on a Sunday.

It normally takes me about 5 minutes from Moorgate to London Bridge and that's 3 stops

That's actually only 3.21 miles you travel, 20.5 mph is the average speed a Tube train travels, stops included, so it should take you 1/6.39 hours, or 9.39 minutes. On paper, at least!

Interestingly, the timings I gave from the site in my post were those for just before the post was made. I'd planned to do a second set for Sunday morning but as the overall answer was the same I didn't bother. So it seems that they do not allow for extra disembark/embark times at busy periods.

So it seems that they do not allow for extra disembark/embark times at busy periods. Strange as this may sound, at some stations you are given longer dwell time on a Sunday than during the peak on a Monday to Friday, Finsbury Park southbound is an example, 20 seconds in the morning peak, 26 seconds on a Sunday morning.
