Over the past few years membership of the Forum has increased to well over 1,000 members, which is great. Inevitably over time some members move on, change direction or develop other interests. Rather than have our membership numbers artificially inflated, as is the case on some fora, from time-to-time the staff on the Forum look through our membership list and prune those who have been inactive for an extended period of time. In general this would only be for members who have not logged in at all this year and in cases of well-established members, much longer than that. However, we are aware that some members of the Forum might do so in a reading only capacity and might not regularly log in. If there is anyone who has not logged during 2014 and would like to remain a member, then please send a PM in the next week to Londonstuff or any other staff member. After this time if there is anyone who would like to be restored they are welcome to apply again under the same name and have their account and post count restored. Thanks

Afternoon folks, As detailed last month I've now pruned inactive members who haven't been here this year (and in the case of prolific posters, much longer than that). Thanks to the members who PM'ed me informing me that they were still active. if anyone happens to return after a long period of absence and would like their account reinstated (post count, etc.) please apply in the normal manner and let me know that you're a former member in the space provided. Thanks

Dear all,
In the next month or so I shall do our annual pruning of members so that our member count says accurate. I shall likely delete members who have not logged in during the last year (i.e. since last summer). The same guidelines as in the first post in this thread apply:
Please do PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks to those of you who have PMed me. Up until now just logging in by itself has confirmed you are active and will ensure your account remains valid.
Over the next few days the Forum staff will begin to analyse the data as of today - from now a PM is essential.
Any further questions please do get in touch.
