T52 7012 + 7095 is a D this morning! My first D trip in a looooong time, and possibly my last without intentionally trying to catch one.
As I walked onto the platform, the person behind me gasped at the sight of it! And somebody who got on at Wimbledon Park said to their friend "it's the second time it's been one of these now". Shows what a rarity it is to catch one now!
Off topic - every morning from Wimbledon, the 06:33 T52 is described on the station next train describers, and the recent audio announcements as a High Street Kensington train, when it fact it goes to Barking. Would anybody know as to why this is? Just to try and satisfy my curiosity ..!
Edit: and we just passed another D at Putney Bridge. Didn't catch the number of that one though. I feel like I've gone back in time this morning!

I feel like I've gone back in time this morning! Thanks to the previous three posts for this morning's observations - managed to get out and pre-plan some photo locations, instead of hanging around to find out what was running! I think the D passed at Putney Bridge would've been 7018 on 124. I saw 7018 later at St James's Park (eastbound at 1638) but couldn't catch which unit it was paired with or the train number - assuming a peak working, maybe 124 again, or 123 (everything had been delayed about 10 minutes by a track inspection in the Sloane Square area, we were told). Earlier at Earls Court, 55 returning from Wimbledon at 1543 (only a couple of minutes late) had been switched to Train 33 - at the front end at least, the rear still showed 55! Happy days, soon to end... Re: Unit 7018 now being paired with 7057, could that mean that 7007 is now being prepared for the Farewell Tour, and is 7032 now being withdrawn?

Just out of interest, where can I can find out the location of the last few D Stocks are when in service? Is it a matter of just waiting?

Just out of interest, where can I can find out the location of the last few D Stocks are when in service? Is it a matter of just waiting? As from 27 March they were supposed to have on dedicated workings but the official list is unworkable, as the trains end up in the wrong places! They have appeared on purely random daytime workings when supposed to be only on peak-hour workings. we "try" to post the daily information when we can, the Train numbers quoted can be referenced with the Working Timetable 148, now available from TfL at: WTT148

T21, 101 and 107 out on the evening peak. Took a ride on 21 and 101. Weird to think that there are now less than 2 weeks to go. . .

One listed as heavy clean this morning, perhaps it's in the shed.

I can see 3 in the depot you sure the 4th is not at Ealing Common? Going from left to right there was one railed on one of the shed roads (31 road I think), one at the east end in the middle of the outside roads, one inside the cleaning sheds (61 east which is a D stock only location) and one outside the cleaning sheds on 62 west. Four out of four!

Very interesting, thank you: can't be many more days when three will be on all day service. Let's hope they don't get switched too much during the day... I've compiled a timetable of these three in traditional format on Excel, but can't figure out a way to post it here in case anyone's interested - anybody know?

7012/7095 have reversed at Dagenham East bay and returned at 10.32 as train 007 to Richmond.

7012/7095 were taken out of service on train 007 at Barons Court EB with a door fault. They have run empty to High St Ken after discharging the passengers.
UPDATE: At just after 13.00 7012/7095 ran empty to ECMDT. Operator couldn't get any of the doors to open and had to use the porter buttons to enable the passengers to leave the train.

I saw the low loaders going into the museum depot on the way home tonight. Another car or two on its way out.
