The last ever '67 will be the 19.01 from Brixton tomorrow according to @tomsedwards on Twitter (a BBC journalist). That'll be a first - a BBC journalist getting a transport story right - or maybe he's been lurking on this forum? Mind you, if the BBC run the story they'll probably illustrate it with an A stock instead of their usual '67 ;D

I was disappointed that with today being the penultimate day that no 67ts was out, 247 and 250 were both 09ts

They managed to get the article right with plenty of 09TS the other night, I was pleasantly surprised.

I hope the BBC doesn't illustrate the story it with a 1972 Mk. II stock.

Although 59+79 did the final runs, how many other units were technically avaliable for service on the last day. I'm assuminf 05+49 and 34+85 definitely weren't, as these haven't been out for weeks. But 40+41, 60+61 and 58+76 have been out relatively recently, so I'm assuming these could have been used if needed?

A walk around the depot after 3079+59 stabled only found 3060+61 present, unless any others were hiding away out of sight.

Very nice bit of film! They spent the last stretch (Finsbury Park to Seven Sisters) filming over my shoulder, and I'm very briefly visible getting off the train as well....I must be in the crowd, too, but can't find myself. And no,I wasn't the shouter!

I lied, I *am* in it, I'm up against the inter carriage doors at the back of car 1 and am just about visible at around 4:01 - 4:02 facing sideways wearing a suit

causton, i see you! they guy shouting "three cheers" face is facially obscured in the final shot by someone's handycam - but you can tell it's them doing it. more annoying was the guy who shouted out something about fire extinguishers, which was a devil to edit out. same guy then gave the LU chap loooong conversation about it after everyone else had mostly gone. "see you in 40 years" was quite funny too. how long will the '09 stock last? heh.

Nearly true for me,though,as the last "last" I did was the CO/CP which was about *hurrumph* years ago..... BTW Geofftech....was it you that took a nice photo of me,my bike and a dog on the first ELL train a couple of years ago...? If so,could you PM me a link? Ta.

Nominative determinism at its best - Victoria Pipe at Victoria Tube!
But how did you film on the last train, and then a shot from the platform as the doors opened at 7S? Or did you have a second cameraman?

I don't normally do this sort of stuff but with 67 being topical at the moment, I was at Acton today, on company business, happened to see 67 stock on the roads south of the level crossing, conveniently parked very close by to exactly my business locale. Mobile phone phots only, and as I'm at Hogwarts OWL Troll grade with a camera anyway, they are what they are, low quality images for the record : www.flickr.com/photos/58218988@N07/sets/72157627132926074/EDIT: after posting I tested it and see the link-text is broken at the @ symbol, not sure how to fix this in this forum, anyway @ is correct, you need to paste the whole line into your browser. All pics are taken from authorised routes in site including from the level crossing road/walkway, none are on track. Light and reflection could not get quite close enough the read the car numbers, the train number indicated is 670 -- Nick

Dear Forum Having lurked here (taking a look once a month) for several years, I thought I should post. I was the ‘big mouth’ who led the ‘three cheers’ (but am not responsible for, and distance myself from, the “67 stock for life”, and the “fire extinguishers” comments). I would like to apologise to anyone whose ear I shouted in(!), and also to anyone who found my behaviour unacceptable, or obtrusive, or impacting negatively on their videos. In the moment between having the idea, and opening my mouth, time normally reserved for thinking and ‘tact assessment’, I didn’t consider that it would annoy people, especially given the celebratory atmosphere of the afternoon. In my defence – just listen the cheering that saw off the last tram in 1952 (Pathe news archive)! Everyone has had months to get videos of the stock departing, with full ‘roar and tick’. However, sorry if I breached ‘Last Run Etiquette’. Reading the above posts, can it be ‘confirmed’ (+/-) that some ’67 stock is being kept for departmental use? Also, Bruce Knights blog suggests that a number of cars (beyond the initial 4) will be stored at Eastleigh. See blog below for 25 June eastleighworks.blogspot.com/Sincerely Chesham412 (ex Chesham line Composite, preserved Bluebell Railway.) In real life, a 20-something London commuter and railway/transport (anything with wheels, wings, or floating) enthusiast!

I don't think anyone has a problem with your "three cheers" shout! The fact that everyone joined it proves that to be the case.

I wasn't present on the day of the last running, however I found the three cheers in videos to be great! Made the atmosphere very nice, if you get my drift.
