Sydenham is the first ELL station south of Surrey Quays to get full Overground branding with roundel signs.
No change to the other stations south of New Cross Gate.

I've noticed them as well when I went past there on Friday, they look quite elegant!

I think they are attempting to put them in at Forest Hill. The weather keeps interveining...

Also, Penge West and Anerley have also have roundels, which leaves New Cross Gate to Honor Oak Park, plus Crystal Palace, Norwood Junction and West Croydon left to convert.

This reminds me of 'temporary signs' at Kensington Olympia! Theyve been there since TfL took over and the one under the footbridge is getting abit grotty, are these ever going to be replaced with roundels?

I know i cant believe its taken LO over 3 years to replace the signs, its bad that the ELL Southern stations havent been completed and the lines been open about 8-9 months now.

To save money the "Temporary Signs" on the Barking & Gospel Oak Line are being retained............with white or orange tape being applied over the "Temporary Sign" legend as required!!!!

How could I fail to spot that? I whizzed past there earlier on fast London Bridge train. Anyways, there's been a bit more progress at Norwood Junction; no roundels yet but it's mostly the platform indicators at the moment. All the older 'banner' signs at Penge West have now been removed. I believe that all stations on the eastern part of the NLL (i.e. east of Canonbury and except for Stratford) now have roundels? I've caught a glimpse of a few at Homerton and Dalston Kingsland over a month ago.

Just seems silly to write temporary sign on everything then replace them again, they should of just put new signs in in the first place.

Well thats just cheap, they shouldnt of wrote temporary over everything. Over time they will all either be pulled down or come off.

I don't think the signs were of particularly standard rate construction, hence temporary.

What was the point of putting Temporary Sign on the station sign if they are going to used on a permanent basis? If they were going to be used permanently surely putting temporary sign on them was a waste of time. Take a look at Kensal Rise on one platform it has the typical tfl sign and on the other it has the temporary sign with the temporary sign stuck over with orange tape. I think London Overground have some continuity issues.

What genius decided to place the new ELLE station name boards (Sydenham etc.) between the lamp posts so that they're not illuminated? Not very helpful if you're on a train with non-working PIS (e.g. Southern this evening) and you're wondering what station your at cos you've just woken up from a little doze....

Simon TFL, because these new roundels must be spaced to a sign manual rule, and if they don't coincide with the existing ex-TOC/NSE/BR lighting masts, then hard luck!

New benches and more roundel platform signs at Forest Hill spotted today, along with platform direction signs at the gateline at the ticket office with northbound trains going to Highbury and Islington.
New Cross Gate seems to be nearly done on platforms 3-4 and 5 for roundel signs. 3-4 also have LO branded platform numbers at one end with Southern ones at the far end.

Hey im new to this forum randomly got interested!! I think the New East London line is really good I think it could be faster but hey that's just me being picky!! anyway I was on it few days ago and noticed the Roundels are being put up quite quickly Norwood Junction has its own roundel branding but only on one of its platforms but seeing as that was a few days a go maybe done by now!! Last time I checked West Croydon work hadn't started but I shall check for you tomorrow!! (doubt it though :-( )

Is New Cross Gate the only station to miss out "London Overground service to" in the PA announcements - we still get "The next at platform 5 is the 13:07....... Dalston Junction". After eight/nine months surely this could have been put right?
Also, proper PIS on platform 1/2, having used it yesterday, there was a 14:10 LO service due at Platform 1 to Crystal Palace and a 14:14 Southern service to Caterham and Tattenham corner. No PIS on P1 and the three line PIS on P2 was fully taken up with the splitting service, so no idea what was due afterwards.

Brockley now has it's Roundels.
Honor Oak Park will probably be the last to get the new signs while work at the Crematorium next to Platform 1 continues alongside works to the platform stairs.
Any news on Roundels for Crystal Palace or West Croydon?

The roundel on the totem isn't quite right. They've lowered the bar (literally and metaphorically).
