62s operated on the Central and Northern lines And Piccadilly! So good suggestion!

But then the 67ts was wider, so confined to the Vic, then the 73ts was longer, (6 cars not 7) so could not use the City branch of the Northern. And so it has gone on, but I suspect the 95s and 96s would both fit all lines signalling etc permitting.

'95s are slightly smaller diameter than '96s- a matter of mm's though.

L74 was stopped at Northumberland Pk when that picture was taken due to a defective cab floor,I was the fitter that rode back with it when it eventually went back to Lille Bridge, obviously with another pilot the other end.

Defective Cab floor? Is that a hole? The 67/72ts car body was in gauge for every tube line, bar certain parts of the Central I think. The subject of the 73s on other lines now seems moot as the 95s are longer. Also don't forget the 59s on the Bakerloo, the 67ts on the Hainult shuttle, and the 59s brief running on the Jubilee in the 80s.

1967 Stock has run from Ealing Broadway to the Hainault Loop and now I think about it from Ruislip Depot.

When you say it has run, do you mean under its own power (so with high lift shoegear fitted) or was it towed after shoegear and brackets removed?

When moving from to/from Hainault 67TS ran under its' own power with no modifacation to shoegear.73TS has run through the Central, albeit behind a 72TS pilot unit.Re the cab floor on L74,I'm going back nearly 40 years,if I remember correctly the metalwork under the wooden floor was rotted and this was when the long AEUW dispute was going on so the car was trapped in Northumberland Park waiting for a the fitters to return to work.
